Linkify to be Presented at ACM Hypertext International Conference
Linkify have been selected as a research paper at ACM Hypertext 2014, a leading international conference in the field of state-of-the-art Web technology.
An academic conference that takes on the future of the Web technology, ACM Hypertext is known as the conference where the World Wide Web was proposed by Sir Tim Berners-Lee, who is known as the inventor of the Web.
One of the main results of this research paper is a proposed method for using machine learning to accurately determine whether or not an entity occurring within a text is helpful to the user. The method is a crucial component of Linkify, which is a tool for automatically converting notable entities in a text into links.
The presentation is scheduled for the conference to be held in September in Santiago, Chile.
